About SIC

The annual Seattle Interactive Conference is a two-day event celebrating the convergence of online technology, creativity, and emerging trends in one of the world's most innovative cities.  SIC brings together entrepreneurs, developers and online business professionals from throughout the US and beyond for a powerful combination of in-depth presentations, networking opportunities, and uniquely Seattle social events.   Attendees have the rare opportunity to explore disruptive technologies and business models with visionary thinkers and peers in areas ranging from online commerce and social media to gaming, interactive advertising, entertainment, and much more.

 

SIC Founders

Brian Rauschenbach, Curator (@rauschenbach)
Born as a military brat in the heart of the Steel City of Youngstown, OH, Brian is a principal in Add Three interactive media agency, serial entrepreneur, proud dad, Arsenal soccer fan, and a retired DJ who has been an active internet industry leader since April 1996.

Gloria Connors, Production Director
Los Angeles born Rock & Roller, engineer, production director, entrepreneur, art collector & a proud mom; Weekly snowboarder, expert producer of controlled chaos on stage and off; Enjoys long debates on Yacht Rock vs. Real Rock; Toured until she got tired of being the only woman on the bus; Founder of Connors & Company Events Inc., she has 25 years experience in the music business & still in love with a loud guitar even if she can't hear it.

Cathy Mabee, Programming/Sponsorship (@mabes1)
15 year Microsoft veteran, primarily in roles for the Microsoft Advertising and Trade Marketing teams; Spokane native, Ballard local; Board member of the Northwest Internet Advertising Group (NWIAG).  Spends time raising money for local fundraising organizations such as The Team Jesse Foundation and The Inbetweener; Enjoys traveling to faraway places, neighborhood art walks, road trips, and polar bear plunges.

Marcus Lalario, Events Production
Seattle Nightlife entrepreneur; Owner of HG Lodge and Captain Blacks, and co-owns The Saint, Lil Woody's and Molly Moons Ice Cream. Advisor for VERA Project, board members of Seattle Nightlife and Music Association, and City of Seattle Music Commission; Seattle Magazine named Marcus as one of the city's "Top 25 Most Influential People" and dubbed him "The Pop Culture King Midas"; Coaches little league in free time, local sports fanatic who prays nightly for the return of the Sonics.

Andrea Bruch, Sponsorship Coordinator
NWIAG sponsorship coordinator and producer; Master people connector; Olympic Peninsula native, Razorfish and Microsoft veteran; Andrea likes good food, coffee, outdoor running and traveling to new places.

Mark Peterson, PR / Communications
Montana native and Syracuse University alum/apologist; Two decades of PR leadership experience for public and privately held technology, commercial, and nonprofit ventures in US and abroad; History buff and outdoorsman who lived in West Berlin at height of Cold War and counts Queen Anne Hill, Mt. Baker Ski Area, Mt. Everest Base Camp and his couch among favorite places; Co-founder of LardButt.com, dedicated to below-average athletes and weekend warriors.
